Scooter Attends Boone County Animal Shelter Ribbon-Cutting

Scooter the Neutered Cat attended the ribbon-cutting for the new Boone County Animal Shelter on March 16. After 10 years of planning and construction, this amazing multi-million facility is now open to help house more homeless pets in Northern Kentucky. This includes a room dedicated to housing 24 adoptable cats with individual kennels complete with “catios” or cat patios where cats can enjoy fresh air safely outside.

The League for Animal Welfare is hosting a kitten bottle-feeding class on April 18, 2024 at Purrfect Day Café in Covington, KY. Come and learn how to safely feed young kittens before they’re weaned. All ages and experience-levels are welcome.
