Pet Friendly Services of Indiana hosted their annual Indiana Welfare Conference on April 13, 2024. The conference brought animal shelters, rescue groups, elected officials and veterinary clinics together for a day of learning and networking. Scooter the Neutered Cat attended the ribbon-cutting for the new Boone County Animal Shelter on March 16. After 10 years of planning and construction, this amazing multi-million facility is now open to help house more homeless pets in Northern Kentucky. This includes a room dedicated to housing 24 adoptable cats with individual kennels complete with "catios" or cat patios where cats can enjoy fresh air safely outside.
